Simonds Photographic has a continuously rotating stock of used photo equipment including cameras, lenses, tripods, studio lighting systems, and enlargers. We offer a 30 day warranty on all used equipment. This should be plenty of time to assure you that the equipment is in proper working order. Non-warranty issue used equipment returns are accepted within 10 days. If a return on a used item is necessary, please contact us for a return authorization number. We use Shutterbug Magazine's method of grading as noted below: MINT 100% original finish. Just like factory new, but may not include original packing material or instruction books. EXCELLENT PLUS (EX+) 90 to 99% original finish. Used very little, but obviously used. No major marring of finish or brassing. Optics perfect. Mechanically perfect. EXCELLENT (EX) 80 to 89% original finish. May have a finish flaw or two which detract from appearance, but must be optically and mechanically perfect. EXCELLENT MINUS (EX-) 70 to 79% original finish. May have relatively large flaws in finish which do not affect function. Must be optically and mechanically perfect. GOOD (G) 60 to 69% original finish. Must be complete, but may be scratched or scuffed. Metal may show wear but should have no corrosion, rust or pits. Must be optically and mechanically perfect. FAIR (F) 50 to 59% original finish. May or may not be perfectly functional, but all defects are clearly stated. Would not be attractive to the eye. UGLY (UG) 50% or less original finish. Well used and worn. May have missing parts or may not be fully functional. All defects are clearly stated. |
